We believe that ideas have enormous power. Our ideas about the future of education are bold and innovative. However before real progress can be achieved we must cultivate the conditions under which change can thrive. We know that education and community development systems with years of deeply entrenched bureaucracy will not be an easy fix. We must fundamentally change the way we think about teaching and learning, schooling, sustainability, community development. Using indigenous wisdom, local knowledge, and modern technology in order to bring-forth sustainable, just, and thriving communities I-SEEED rethinks assumptions about what schools and communities look like and the role each of us can play to bring forth equity and excellence for all.
